Ambition has a distinct power to propel you in the direction that you want to go, so much so that it appears like you were made for the journey you embark on. There is so much more to discover and the path ahead of you beckons you further, driven by your inner motives, dreams, and desires. However, what you will eventually find evident is that the further you go in your journey the less you appear to know or are certain of. The things you once knew become a mere glimpse as you see that you have yet to scratch the surface of what appeared to be so clear to you at one point. This factor is present in all areas of life and it is why life is seen as a constant journey where you're always learning, growing, and responding to your world. This can be intimidating at times for on any journey you chose to embark there are factors such as the fear of the unknown, unfamiliar surroundings, and the anxiety to reach your destination. These factors can hinder your process, which is the entire purpose of the journey to begin with. Even the most proficient mountain climber or well experienced hiker leaves trail marks to find his way back to where he started from for most likely at this location he will find water, food, all of his supplies, and other things he packed for his journey. In life, a trail mark can be an encouraging word, a distinct promise, or a defining moment of your life. It can be a reassurance of your journey's purpose and even the comfort of what you already know to be true. These trail marks in your journey are important and necessary in eliminating the factors that can hinder you on any journey.
Just as a shelter, coat, or blanket keeps you dry from the rain, so does the memory of encouraging words or deeds in times of uncertainty. The fear of what we do not know can never be stronger than encouragement because it keeps on giving! Every time you remember it a new faith and a sturdy hope is given to you for your journey, and guess what? You can always come back to it! That's the good part! No matter how far you go it will serve as a trail mark to lead you back to confidence, and reassurance which is so important on any journey so take encouraging words to heart!
Promises can be broken, however there is strength in those that last forever. To know that something or someone is keeping a promise towards you causes you to believe in yourself all the more and this is what keeps the ambition flowing on a journey that seems purposeless and sometimes a total waste. When you apply a promise to unfamiliar surroundings, its like painting the bare walls of a room and giving it the life and color that you are familiar and accustomed to. Now you can call that place home! As rare as they are, promises can be made to you by anyone or anything. You can even promise yourself something! Close your eyes and picture you standing in front of your own self. Promise yourself that you will do everything you can to succeed and that you will never give up on you.
There is something about a defining moment in a person's life that makes it so. Whatever it is about that moment stays with them and makes them who they are today, whether good or bad. In this case a defining moment for the better will help you get rid of an anxiety to reach your destination. When you are anxious you rarely consider processes or other related factors attached to what you're anxious for. You just want it and you want it now! However a defining moment in your life shows you that in time the thing you desire will be yours and this too will be a defining moment of your life just as all the others were. Before anyone graduates from school they are so anxious to, and then they finally do. Then they become anxious for the next thing in their life. If you place a defining moment as a trail mark in your journey of life you will understand that you are the person who succeeded in that particular journey. Why should now be any different?
When your ambition takes you farther than you've ever gone before there is no need to fear the unknown, or unfamiliar surroundings. You also don't have to anxious for your destiny for the trail marks of encouragement, a promise, and a defining moment of your life will lead guide you in the reassurance and purpose of your journey, otherwise called home.

Our World Revisited: On The Horizon
Nature's beauty is so diverse, so inspiringly unique and upredictable despite the efforts of man to understand it. In nature there is so much we will never know or understand but accept because it must be so inorder for humanity to enjoy this beautiful place we call home. Why can't we feel the same way about life? Life is so much like this at times. Its diverse, inspiringly unique, and sometimes unpredictable. Certainly there are things we will understand or know about but must learn to accept as part of life inorder to truly enjoy having it, just as in nature. One of the phenomenons of nature is that of a horizon. Its simple, yet deeply complex in terms of our biosphere, carrying with it the rise and setting of the sun. In our lives, sunrise can mean the beginning of brand new opportunities or the start of a better future, the time where our dreams become reality. However, the sunrise will always lead to a sunset, a time in our lives where dreams seem so unreachable and faith becomes a rare commodity. This is where we can look at nature and see the significance of both. Sunrise and sunset on the same horizon are both beautiful and cohesive to our biosphere and so should be the same way in our lives. Living for the best times in your life helps you to look forward to more of them and also helps you to embrace the times we feel is not the best so that we can make the best of every day we live.
The sunrise of our lives signals that a new day has just begun! New chances appear to us, and bigger opportunities appear on the horizon! Everything is attainable and seeing automatically helps us to believe. However what happens when we don't see? Think positively still. Yes, seeing is believing but inorder to see we must first believe! Live for the great moments of your life, for the sunrises that bring new days and a chance to hope and believe again.
At the end of every day there can be seen a sunset on the horizon. At this time the sun is going down and the light is giving way to the darkness. Sometimes there will be sunsets in your life but we must not live for them, but embrace them as being apart of getting to the next sunrise. Nature is a silent teacher but sometimes the lessons are loud and clear.

Our World Revisited: Timing v.s.Opportunity
It really sucks missing out on things! What's worse is knowing that if you had done one thing or many things differently you would have had a better chance or the opportunity would have led to breakthrough. Many people believe that timing is an extremely important factor to consider when taking advantage of opportunities and this goes back to the ideal belief that "time is money". The truth is that time is one of the many things that man would like to control. Unfortunately, time is one of the things that will always be out of the control of humanity. One of the reasons why things go haywire in the life a control freak is because one of the things he tries to control is time, among a ton of other life factors that was here before he even existed. Here's the catch! You can also be drastically right of the fact. Sometimes we shy away from things we can't control and this is often where opportunites are originated! Although we cannot control time, we can control timing! Well, the difference between the two is that timing is how we make time beneficial to us in how it is given and how it comes. For example, Suzie would have more time to study if she would nt watch television for so long. This is timing. As a result of Suzie not watching televisin for so long, she now has more time to study which helped her to pass the class and graduate! Timing in this example has been beneficial to Suzie even though she and everyone else on the planet is not able to control time itself. Suppose Suzie had done the opposite. Even though the opportunity was given to her to graduate, she missed the opportunity because of timing (what she had done with the time alotted to her). Another example would be people who own stocks or other investments. Timing for them is key to taking hold of any opportunity for advancement in there interests because just as they are concerned and express dire interest in their funds, so does the millions of other people across the globe who invest as well. The person who does not use their time wisely in investing will not be able to access opportuities quick enough before they vanish into the hands of someone who understands timing quite clearly and is it fair? Absolutely not if you're thinking in the terms of qualification because just as education qualifies you to recieve an opportunity, wisdom gives you the ability to take advantage of those opportunities.
A common reason why timing in relation to opportunity is misinterpreted because the easiest way to think and interpret situations is irrationally. When under pressure, duress, or direct/indirect conflict the most common view or to have or express is the irrational one. To the irrational person, timing is not an important factor in any decision or opportunity. In their view, time revolves around them, causing them to miss out on many things in their lives. In our society irrational thinking is strongly encouraged due to the high emphasis on acting from emotions and feelings and not logic. This tactic is used by the media and our society inorder to keep things in place and running. The irrational person is often the wrecklessly emotional person who spends consisitently for temporary internal satisfaction rather than out of necessity, which stimulates the economy greatly. The irrational person is also the person easily swayed or provoked, angered, or enticed, increasing crime rate and the "notion of needing to be protected or secured". Thus, the rich get richer...and well....you know the rest. The direct way to seize opportunities is dominantly through timing and thinking rationally increases your relationship with time, how you view it, and use it in your life. Its time for you to stop missing out on opportunity. Wouldn't you agree?

Our World Revisited: Understanding the Bigger Picture
Having a small perspective of the world around you is the easiest thing to do. Its easy to observe what is before you and make statements about the obvious. There is no need to look any further or think any deeper than whats right in front of you and this is the trap! Think of it as a prison in your mind. Whatever happens in your mind also happens in the outside world so think of how many opportunities you may miss because your perspective just wasn't wide enough to see them. Its not your fault. Society conditions us to think about the here and now and pushes us along in a cycle of small views where we only see just above the rim of our troubles. Think bigger! Grasp the bigger perspective! Here's some ways you can help yourself see and understand the bigger picture in every situation. Once you start changing the way you see situations in your life, the bigger picture will reveal itself to you and in this lies true freedom!
The first way you can see and understand the bigger picture is to take what you need and leave the rest. Do not harbor or hold onto the unnecessary information you come across in life. These things are feelings, emotions, doubts, spiteful words or deeds, etc..These things have to be as the wind in your life. As we breathe we receive oxygen from the air, but we do not hold on to this air. We take what we need from it and then we let it go. Find the good, the things you need in what life presents you and all the rest you must let go of it because if you don't it will cloud your view of life's bigger picture and also cloud your thinking, your judgement, and your character. Trust me, its not worth it!
Another way to see and understand the bigger picture is to see above the actual situations in your life. Never look directly at them, look above them because our reality is only projected by what we really think about our lives and ourselves. Always see every situation as something in your own favor because then this changes your reality. Look above the feeling that you are misunderstood and see how unique you are. Look above the notion that your plans are taking longer than expected and see that you are working up to something bigger than you've ever dreamed or imagined! Remember that whenever there is a problem there is always a solution to that problem and most of the time you have to look above it in order to see the solution.
A third way to see and understand the bigger picture is expectancy! Whatever you expect to happen will happen, no matter what it is that you expect. Situations occur in every one's life but they only serve as distractions from whats really happening and whats really happening is what you expected to happen all along! Sounds kind of obvious, right? Expecting the best possible outcome, expecting the best possible reasoning to be truth, expecting success by all means holds the power to unlock many opportunities in your life and widens your perspective and your views on certain situations, thus bringing you closer to the bigger picture! Never look at where you are now or where you've been. Look at where you expect to be. Look at the bigger picture!

Our World Revisited: A Path Called Following Your Dreams
Dreams! How special and rare they seem to be these days when all that we think and feel comes from the society we live in, the media, and our culture. Dreams imply the want for something greater than we can imagine, bigger than the norm and what we are capable of doing on a regular basis. They carry us to a place where anything is possible and is the home of the unimaginable. A dream is always the beginning...the awakening. However, we live in a dream-killer society. The everyday pressures and woes of our world choke out our dreams like weeds choke out a lovely garden full of orchids. Though it is rare that we will run across anyone who has the audacity to confront us about our dreams, often it is just the existence of pain and hurt around us that keep us from taking flight. Its called "the real world". In my opinion, this should be called slumber, for we are kept from awakening to our true potential. Dreaming has become a lost art, and many times viewed as a distraction because with all that we take on in life, our daily tasks and challenges just don't make room for dreaming about what could be, or what we want to happen in our lives. This is where we must fight for it! The path called following your dreams is one that requires you to fight in faith, believe, and be consistent. Dreaming is the awakening from the slumber of reality.
It may seem like hard work, and sometimes it may even seem worthless. Fighting to keep the faith, to keep your dreams and stay on the paths they bring is not an easy task but a worthwhile one. No matter how you feel inside and no matter what people tell you, your dreams matter and if you fight hard for your right to do so, your dreams will come true! That is no cliche and definitely not a fairytale! Dreams do come true and giving up on them means surrendering to slumber and resorting to the reality around you, helplessly going along with the beliefs of society because you feel you can't do anything to change them. Fighting to keep hold of your dreams may seem hard at times because it requires sacrifice. Many things you once believed will be called into question and must be thrown out with all other doubt and unbelief. Sometimes this can even mean the people we know who do not believe in you and who do not encourage your faith but bring you nothing but worries and reasons. Sacrifice could also mean making choices now that would lead you closer to your dreams. The path called following your dreams will be crowded sometimes and lonely at others. You will pass many situations and circumstances on your way. This is why you must fight to be strong, to take courage, to sacrifice. Its worth it in the end!
It is easy to believe in yourself when everyone is rooting for you, when you have a support system and the people who matter most to you in life believe you can do anything you try...but what about when you don't? What about the times when you feel there is no one who believes in you, the times where you don't even believe in yourself? These times are scattered here and there on the path called following your dreams because believing is key! Here's a tip; Believe in you unconditionally. Whether you win or lose, whether you're appreciated or under appreciated, liked or disliked, recognized or unrecognized, keep believing! Remind yourself of only the things that qualify you as being a winner, not those things that disqualify you. Constantly believe that your dreams are within your reach and they will be! Its a proven fact! Another tactic to help you believe is to do your best at everything. Always put forth 100% effort in everything you try because this helps you to believe that you will achieve what you are working so hard for. It is important to believe. It is the boat that carries you to your dream.
Stick to it! If you believe in yourself today, believe in yourself tomorrow. Become consistent because success is not about being strong or swift. Success is achieved when effort is put forth consistently. The path way to your dreams may be short or long. It may have twists and turns, dips and pits...it may not be as you think it should be or how it appears to be for others. This is where consistency comes into play. One way to be consistent is organization and planning, scheduling, and preparation because those who fail to plan, plan to fail! Keep doing what you know to do and stick the race out til the end. You have been given a dream for a purpose and you are truly fortunate! Life to you has become a place of limitless possibilities so cherish it. Dream on!
