Our World Revisited: Understanding the Bigger Picture

Having a small perspective of the world around you is the easiest thing to do. Its easy to observe what is before you and make statements about the obvious. There is no need to look any further or think any deeper than whats right in front of you and this is the trap! Think of it as a prison in your mind. Whatever happens in your mind also happens in the outside world so think of how many opportunities you may miss because your perspective just wasn't wide enough to see them. Its not your fault. Society conditions us to think about the here and now and pushes us along in a cycle of small views where we only see just above the rim of our troubles. Think bigger! Grasp the bigger perspective! Here's some ways you can help yourself see and understand the bigger picture in every situation. Once you start changing the way you see situations in your life, the bigger picture will reveal itself to you and in this lies true freedom!
The first way you can see and understand the bigger picture is to take what you need and leave the rest. Do not harbor or hold onto the unnecessary information you come across in life. These things are feelings, emotions, doubts, spiteful words or deeds, etc..These things have to be as the wind in your life. As we breathe we receive oxygen from the air, but we do not hold on to this air. We take what we need from it and then we let it go. Find the good, the things you need in what life presents you and all the rest you must let go of it because if you don't it will cloud your view of life's bigger picture and also cloud your thinking, your judgement, and your character. Trust me, its not worth it!
Another way to see and understand the bigger picture is to see above the actual situations in your life. Never look directly at them, look above them because our reality is only projected by what we really think about our lives and ourselves. Always see every situation as something in your own favor because then this changes your reality. Look above the feeling that you are misunderstood and see how unique you are. Look above the notion that your plans are taking longer than expected and see that you are working up to something bigger than you've ever dreamed or imagined! Remember that whenever there is a problem there is always a solution to that problem and most of the time you have to look above it in order to see the solution.
A third way to see and understand the bigger picture is expectancy! Whatever you expect to happen will happen, no matter what it is that you expect. Situations occur in every one's life but they only serve as distractions from whats really happening and whats really happening is what you expected to happen all along! Sounds kind of obvious, right? Expecting the best possible outcome, expecting the best possible reasoning to be truth, expecting success by all means holds the power to unlock many opportunities in your life and widens your perspective and your views on certain situations, thus bringing you closer to the bigger picture! Never look at where you are now or where you've been. Look at where you expect to be. Look at the bigger picture!
